AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla both struck half centuries as South Africa eased to a seven-wicket win over England in the fifth and final NatWest One-Day International in Nottingham. England was forced to make an injury enforced changes with Jonathan Trott being replaced by Jonny Bairstow. Chris Woakes replaced the impressive Steven Finn who was ruled out with a back injury. There were changes in the South African line-up as well with Justin Ontong and Morne Morkel replacing Ryan McLaren and the listless Lonwobo Tsotsobe. Opting to bat first, England suffered a double blow very early as Bell was trapped leg before by Robin Peterson who opened the bowling with Steyn for just 10, the batsman asked for a review to no avail, and was followed to the pavilion by Ravi Bopara for a duck. Bopara ended a miserable series with the bat managing only 22 runs at a shocking average of 5.50.
