The Promoting Diversity into Broadcasting Symposium was held at the Department of Culture, Media and Sports and was a fundamental event that explored the concepts and practices of the Television, Film and Media and their relevance to the socio-economic development of our diverse BME communities. Invited speakers included two Government Ministers including the Minister for Broadcasting, Lord McIntosh. Representatives from the main Broadcasters were represented also including Sue Caro from the BBC and Mary Fitzpatrick from Channel 4. This film sponsored by Ravensbourne College features some of the key addresses to the invited delegates.
