Bio by Shaun James Maria is the daughter of a South African police legend. Her modern beliefs are challenged when she is called to investigate a murder at a rural village where the killer is supposedly non-human. The Wanderer is an AFDA 4th year graduation project. It was shot on 35mm film, as well as some digital, over a period of 10 days. The concept was derived from our culturally and socially diverse community in South Africa where belief systems play an important role. Also, horror/thriller short films are hard to come by so we thought we would give it a go. We hope you enjoy it :)
