Despite losing two early wickets, England are on course in a large run-chase on day five of the first Test against New Zealand at Lord's, thanks mainly to a man-of-the-match performance by debutant Andrew Strauss. That is, until Nasser Hussain comically runs him out just 17 runs short of becoming the first English batsman to score two hundreds on debut. Fortunately, Nasser makes amends in what turns out to be his final Test innings, ably supported by Graham Thorpe, and he leads England to the first of seven straight wins during the 2004 summer. Nasser's last interview as an England player (with Athers) is also included.
