After the two medals and the intense duel against Steve Ovett in the Moscow 1980 Olympic Games, Sebastian Coe was back at the Olympic Games. As a replay for the previous games, at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games, Seb Coe won the silver medal in the 800 metres race. At the 1500 metres final, once again he had another fellow British rival also called Steve. This time it was Steve Cram. Just as he did in Moscow, Coe sprinted into the lead in the final turn, pulled away and won by six metres. With that result, he became the only man to have won 1500m Olympic gold twice.
