The relaunch of ESA's Business Incubation Centre took place in April 2010. Part of ESA's Technology Transfer Programme and located in-house at ESTEC, its purpose is to support young enterprises with access to specialised technical support and facilities as well as seedcorn funding and visibility to the outside world. It has been successful in creating more than 200 jobs in more than 50 new European companies. The Centre is reaching a new phase as new partners have been taken on. Similar incubation centres have now been established at ESA sites in Germany and Italy.
