This is the video piece of the initial launch of the Heritage Lottery Fund, oral history project: 'Our Estate Lives' on the Ashmole Estate in the summer of 2011. Old photographs of the estate were displayed and residents invited to come and have a look and reminisce together with staff from First Call Housing and Metropolitan Housing Trust. Many of those attending agreed to be involved with the project, be interviewed and contribute some of their own memorabilia. A video recording was made of some of the event held in the Community Hall used by residents from the estate's sheltered housing.
